We're keen to connect with experienced Payroll Specialists across Gippsland and Regional Victoria who may be open to a new role now or in the months ahead.
We partner with organisations right across the region – including health, community services, education, local government, not‐for‐profit and commercial businesses – and are often engaged on roles before they are advertised. Opportunities can be temporary, contract, or permanent, depending on what suits you best.
About the role
* End‐to‐end payroll processing across weekly, fortnightly or monthly cycles
* Interpreting awards, EBAs and employment agreements
* Ensuring payroll compliance across Fair Work, tax and superannuation requirements
* Managing reconciliations, reporting and payroll audits
* Handling complex payroll queries and escalation matters
* Supporting system upgrades or continuous improvement initiatives
* Being a trusted payroll advisor within the business
About you
* Solid end‐to‐end payroll experience
* Strong working knowledge of Australian payroll legislation
* Experience using payroll systems such as Ascender, Chris21, iChris, Micropay, PayGlobal, MYOB, Xero or similar
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Confidence working autonomously while collaborating with broader teams
* Clear, pragmatic communication style
