About the Opportunity The Change and Communications Manager is the driving force behind smooth transitions. They ensure stakeholders, customers, and suppliers are engaged, while also assessing risks and readiness. Their focus? Crafting effective strategies and plans to inform, prepare, and engage our people, ensuring seamless adoption and success in the new landscape. From communications to capability uplift, they're the champions of change. In this Role Drive awareness, desire, knowledge, ability, and reinforcement through tailored change management plans, minimizing resistance and maximizing engagement. Implement impactful communications, training, and delivery to mitigate change risks effectively. Develop comprehensive change collateral aligned with the Metcash Delivery Success approach, covering strategies, impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, and readiness processes. Collaborate with the program team to design, develop, and deliver fit-for-purpose change activities, stakeholder engagement plans, targeted communications, and monitoring mechanisms. Ensure seamless transition to business as usual (BAU) models, sustainability, and acceptance through robust transition plans and support. Actively participate in the Delivery Success change cohort to maintain consistency and excellence in change management practices. You're Likely a Match If you have Previous experience in a change management role within complex project, program environments. Change Management Qualifications and/or accreditations Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques Ability to connect and work alongside all levels within the program and broader organization Strong collaborator with solid, writing, editing, and proofreading skills and experience in managing a variety of communication platforms using fit for purpose platforms/formats Strong leadership skills with the ability to set and communicate purpose and direction Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Strong Negotiation & Influencing skills Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure Life at Metcash Experience a supportive and flexible work environment.
