About the Opportunity
A strategic and commercially minded finance professional is sought to join our organisation in a senior leadership role.
This key position is responsible for providing forward-looking financial planning, performance reporting and commercial analysis to support sustainable growth across all aged care operations.
The successful candidate will have strong technical capabilities alongside the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
* Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate projections
* Deliver monthly financial and performance reports using Power BI to inform business decisions
* Partner with executives and operational leaders to support strategic decision-making
* Develop business cases for major projects and investments to drive growth
* Identify cost optimisation opportunities and financial risk areas to mitigate risks
* Oversee regulatory compliance reporting, including aged care reforms and care minute tracking
* Manage and develop a small team of analysts to drive business outcomes
Requirements
To be successful in this role, the candidate will have:
* Relevant qualifications in finance, accounting or commerce
* Advanced Power BI and Excel modelling experience
* Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills
* Solid understanding of aged care or healthcare funding models
* Experience working at a strategic level with executive teams and boards
* Familiarity with Department of Health compliance requirements and sector reforms
