**About the Centre**
The Bass Coast Y have operated in the Bass Coast community for close to 20 years, building strong partnership in recreation and youth programs. The Y operates the two major recreation facilities in Cowes and Wonthaggi as well as delivering a range of community skate and youth focused programs at each of the skate parks across the shire. FReeZA is a State Government funded program delivering youth music, arts and cultural events.
**About the role**
The key functions of the Skate & FReeZA Programs Coordinator is to deliver engaging, fun and safe skate related programs and events throughout Bass Coast.
In addition, the role is responsible to deliver the FReeZA program in line with the funding guidelines and targets. FReeZA involves the delivery of music, culture and arts based events and leadership of a youth based creative committee. The role partners with the YES Youth Hub team to deliver youth events across the Shire. The role is 20 to 25 hrs per week with flexible work locations between Phillip Island and Wonthaggi.
The role requires the applicant to hold a drivers license.
This is a part-time position (25 hrs per week) and the hourly rate starts at $30.77 + Super.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- First Aid and CPR certificates
- Current Drivers License
- Proven experience as a program co-ordinator or relevant position
- Relevant qualification in Community / Youth / sport and rec or equivalent
- Interest / experience working in events, music or the arts is an advantage
