Rural Finance Manager

The Nutrien Finance team acts a key enabler for our core retail business Nutrien Ag Solutions. Strong customer appeal for our flexible payment solutions has seen exceptional growth in our finance portfolio consecutively for the past 5 years. Our go forward strategy is to grow our exposure to the large family and institutional farming segment with our market leading NPay offering.
NPay is a digitally enabled financial solution, first of its kind in our industry, that enables our customers to choose when they pay for their crop and farm inputs.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual that is familiar and has experience with the large corporate farming sector and is motivated to build a finance portfolio in this large highly valued segment.
A very attractive remuneration package will be offered to the right candidate to join our small but highly successful team to grow our footprint in WA.
About the opportunity:
The key focus of the role is to deliver exceptional service and solutions for our customers through engagement with our retail network. In addition, you will be responsible for:
* Formulating and executing a territory sales plan that supports the strategic growth plans of the business
* Developing relationships via a high standard of engagement with business partners across a branch and agency network
* Grow the Nutrien Finance footprint for branches across customer segments in a designated geographic territory
* Directly and autonomously manage a portfolio of large finance transactions that enable retail sales to valued customers across a designated geographic territory
* Maintain and enhance the credit risk profile and profitability of a loan portfolio
* Communication and promotion of the Nutrien Finance products
* Aspire to continue to build a business and grow your portfolio
What we'll love about you:
To be successful you will possess proven experience in sales and business development ideally within the agribusiness sector and the ability to engage a network in delivering the finance products to the customers. In addition, you will be:
* Highly commercially focused and driven to achieve financial outcomes
* Goal orientated
* Able to travel regionally within the network
* Passionate about the agricultural industry
* Experience in the retail or agricultural sectors
* Full drivers' licence
