We're seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead our entire finance function, driving both operational excellence and strategic growth. As a key member of the leadership team, you will oversee all day-to-day finance operations including payroll, accounts payable, cash flow, and financial reporting while playing a strategic role in financial planning, margin optimisation, and process automation.
You will lead a talented onshore and offshore finance team and work closely with sales, operations, and executive leadership to deliver commercial insights that support business growth in the dynamic healthcare staffing industry. You will also receive mentoring and guidance from an experienced executive team and an external CFO advisory practice, supporting your professional development and progression toward a future CF role.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead all finance operations and strategic financial planning whilst having the support of an external CFO advisory team
* Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and working capital initiatives
* Oversee payroll for doctors, ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Direct and develop a team across AR, reporting, analytics and offshore operations
* Implement automation and systems improvements
* Contract management and negotiation
* Provide financial leadership in executive and board discussions
About You
* 5+ years' finance management experience in the recruitment industry or professional services
* CA/CPA qualified with strong Australian payroll and tax compliance knowledge
* Proven team leadership (5+ direct reports)
* Advanced Excel and cloud accounting experience (Xero preferred)
* Strategic mindset with a track record of driving process improvements
