You won't just manage processes; you'll influence strategy, embed innovation, and help create a culture where good people can do great work. From building trusted relationships to introducing digital and AI-driven solutions, your leadership will help us evolve and thrive.

About The Opportunity

In this role, you will:

* Build strong partnerships and deliver high-level expert advice across the agency
* Provide expert support on complex and sensitive employment relations matters
* Coach and lead a team of P&C Business Partners to deliver a high-performing business partnering function
* Drive workforce planning and succession strategies aligned with organisational priorities
* Lead change and business improvement initiatives, including digitalisation and AI-driven solutions
* Represent the department in industrial matters, including at the South Australian Employment Tribunal

Type of Appointment: Temporary (up to March 2027)

Remuneration: ASO8 ($121,107 – $125,679 p.a.) + 12% Super

Applicants at ASO7 level will also be considered, remuneration ($108,109 - $116,864 p.a.) + 12% Super

About You

You'll thrive here if you:

* Have significant experience providing strategic HR and industrial relations advice at a senior level
* Can partner with stakeholders to deliver proactive workforce solutions
* Bring expertise in coaching or leading teams to uplift capability
* Possess highly effective verbal and written communication skills
* Are a strong problem solver who can navigate complexity with confidence
* Have experience designing and implementing innovative workforce strategies
