About The Role
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, organising, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and according to scope and quality in project briefs. Projects are of small to medium size across City Projects, generally with a total cost of less than $1 million. The role includes developing and delivering assigned projects, including business case development, project planning, monitoring, reporting, quality management, contract management, stakeholder partnerships, and communications management.
Responsibilities encompass the full project development lifecycle with a focus on delivery, including defining project scope and specifications, procurement/tendering, managing consultants, contractors, and stakeholders (internal/external) to achieve key milestones.
What You Will Bring… (Selection Criteria)
* Relevant tertiary qualification at degree level in Project Management, Building Construction, Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
* At least 3 years of proven experience in project management, delivering projects related to design and construction activities within a diverse organisation with multiple stakeholders.
* Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction within a structured reporting framework.
* Understanding of project management methodologies and standard forms of construction contracts and industry practices.
* Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills to work with diverse stakeholders with varying expectations and needs.
* Ability to operate effectively under high pressure, managing multiple priorities within a complex environment.
