J2 Group is an Australian B2B Lead Generation & Sales Growth Agency operating across enterprise accounts. We embed structured SDR teams directly into our clients' businesses and run them as managed outbound sales engines.
We're looking for a Head of SDR Performance to join our team and take full ownership of outbound execution across our enterprise campaigns.
This is not an admin role. This is not an HR role. This is a performance leadership role.
You will protect enterprise revenue by ensuring our SDR teams are disciplined, accountable, and consistently producing qualified opportunities.
What You'll Do:
* Own the performance of 15–30 SDRs across multiple enterprise campaigns.
* Monitor daily and weekly activity and output metrics, ensuring each SDR is producing at standard.
* Review call recordings and improve call quality, objection handling, and SQL conversion.
* Run structured coaching sessions and performance conversations.
* Act quickly on underperformance and make replacement recommendations when required.
* Work alongside our Client Retention Lead to diagnose campaign issues and protect delivery stability.
* Interpret reporting dashboards and make clear, timely performance decisions without waiting for permission.
* Set the tone, standards, and accountability culture across the SDR team
Who You Are:
* Experience Level: 3+ years in outbound SDR or BDR environments, ideally with team leadership or management responsibility.
* Metrics Driven: You live in dials, connects, conversion rates, and SQL quality. You diagnose issues using data, not emotion.
* Performance Focused: You are comfortable holding people accountable, having direct conversations when standards slip, and making tough calls when required.
* Structured Thinker: You love systems, reporting frameworks, and clarity. Nothing surprises you because you stay close to the numbers.
* Call Quality Operator: You can listen to a call and quickly identify what needs fixing. You understand outbound psychology and objection handling.
* Decisive: You make clear recommendations, stand by your decisions, and prioritise team performance.
