Mental Health Clinician – Short-Term Assessment & Response / Youth Support
Full-time or Part-time (0.8 FTE) | Regional Victoria | Multidisciplinary Mental Health Team
Are you a Mental Health Clinician passionate about early intervention and crisis response? I'm currently partnering with a major regional health service in Victoria's northwest that's expanding its Short-Term Assessment and Response (START) and Treatment and Support (TAS) teams. These roles provide short-term assessment, risk management, and therapeutic support for individuals (particularly youth) presenting with acute mental health needs.

About the Role
* Provide triage, assessments, suicide risk response, and short-term therapeutic interventions
* Work collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to create effective support plans
* Be part of a dynamic team supporting individuals in crisis and aiding their recovery in the community
About You
* Qualified in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or Nursing with AHPRA or relevant registration
* Experience providing direct clinical care to people experiencing mental illness
* Strong understanding of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022
* A current driver's licence is essential
* Provisional Psychologists are encouraged to apply — supervision is available on-site
