With operations expanding in the Northern Territory and Victoria, we are seeking a dedicated Youth Worker Office Manager to join our growing team in Darwin.
About the Role
This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Youth Worker or Case Manager to lead ECB’s Darwin office operations and deliver case management support to disengaged youth participating in our Corrections Training Program.
You will provide individualized support, mentoring, and guidance, helping young people develop the skills, confidence, and stability to transition into education or employment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in community services, corrections, or youth engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of ECB’s Darwin office
- Provide case management and mentoring to disengaged or at-risk youth under the Case Management program
- Develop and monitor individual support and action plans
- Coordinate training activities, placements, and community engagement initiatives
- Liaise with correctional services, community organisations, and government agencies
- Maintain accurate case notes, reports, and compliance documentation
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and culturally respectful setting for all participants
- Support the ongoing delivery of training and employment programs
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in youth work, corrections, or community services
- Strong background in case management, mentoring, or client support
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage disengaged or vulnerable youth
- Strong organisational, time‑management, and administrative skills
- Understanding of the VET (Vocational Education and Training) sector (desirable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and record‑keeping systems
- Certificate IV in Community Services (or higher qualification) – mandatory
- Current Working with Children Check (Ochre Card)
- Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
