About The Role
The Tarra Motors Group is seeking a motivated professional Service Receptionist to join its high performing Service Department.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting and assisting customer both in person and over the telephone.
- Assisting with customer enquiries regarding service appointments, vehicle status and products/services available.
- Schedule and confirm service appointments for customers.
- Handle customer inquiries, requests and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Administration of service records and agreements, customer files, warranty records and work orders.
- Data entry and generation of service-related reports.
- Processing customer payments including cash and credit transactions and insurance billing.
- Liaise between internal departments such as Sales, Service, Parts and Technicians.
- Schedule vehicle pickup and delivery to customers.
- Work as part of a dynamic and safety conscious team.
About You
Essential to your success are the following criteria:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Experience with ' in person' customer service (preferred).
- Professional phone etiquette and great communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook and/or dealership management software (i.e. Titan DMS).
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of automotive services and repair processes (preferred).
- Self-motivated person with high levels of initiative and ability to work autonomously.
- Positive attitude, reliable and punctual.
- Current NSW Driver's License.
