Integrated Mental Health Inpatient Unit (Whyalla)
Whyalla Hospital is one of three SA regional hospitals with an Integrated Mental Health Inpatient Unit (IMHIU). The unit features six single bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and a welcoming dining and lounge area. About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse in the Local Health Network Mental Health service, you'll deliver evidence-based, recovery-oriented care across community, acute, and rehabilitation settings. Responsibilities include providing individual and family therapy, group programs, health promotion, and community development. You'll have opportunities for professional growth, with accountability for high standards of nursing care and delegation of tasks, making a meaningful impact on consumer wellbeing.
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will support evidence-based, recovery-oriented services within the Mental Health team, providing care across various settings under supervision. You will contribute to mental health care delivery, ensuring high-quality care and accountability for your actions.

About You:
RN/M1
* Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, with a current practicing certificate.
* Willing to enroll or be enrolled in postgraduate studies in Mental Health practice.
* Demonstrated competence in relevant nursing practice standards.
* Experience working with Aboriginal consumers.
ENC/END
* Must be enrolled or eligible for enrollment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, with a current practicing certificate.
* Experience in mental healthcare nursing within your education and skill level.
* Experience working with Aboriginal consumers.
