Job Description
You will be responsible for supporting the operational performance of our farm within agreed production, quality, safety targets. This includes supervising staff and labour resources, monitoring crop performance, driving efficiencies ensuring compliance across WHS quality systems.
You will directly oversee Farm Hands Shed Hands Supervisors while working closely with Growers Agronomists HR external labour suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead daily farm shed operations to meet production quality safety targets;
* Supervise train motivate performance-manage farming teams;
* Coordinate labour requirements with HR labour hire providers;
* Conduct daily toolbox meetings staff inductions;
* Maintenance monitor crop health irrigation fertiliser application pest control IPM standards drive efficiency; Maintain highest focus on WHS throughout audits incident reporting compliance processes; Maintain robust machinery cleaning maintenance schedules Ensure QA accreditations hygiene programs maintained Control site security inventory records stocktakes continually improve farming practices efficiency through strategic improvements focused proactive actions continuously striving make positive impact business results grow sustainable future.
