Euro Auctions conducts unreserved auctions of industrial plant, construction equipment and agricultural machinery on a global basis with sites in the UK, Europe, UAE, Australia, US and Canada. We are the market leader in Europe, holding more sales and selling more lots per sale than any other auction house.
We currently require an experienced general yard operative to assist in preparation of the yard prior to the sale, and movement of machinery during the auction.
Key Activities
* Assist in yard operations to ensure the smooth running of all auctions.
* Safe movement of equipment and machinery in the auction yard.
* Precise loading and unloading activities.
* Assisting with stock checks.
* Participating in other yard duties.
The Person
We're on the lookout for an experienced yard operative with good communication and time management skills. Can work as part of a team and use their own initiative with the ability to climb on and off large equipment.
Perks and Pay
* 30 days annual leave.
* Christmas Shutdown.
The Requirements
* A minimum of 2 years' experience operating forklifts.
* Prior experience operating heavy equipment and trucks.
* Previous experience working on a busy yard/site.
* Mechanical experience.
