One position at Adelaide Botanic Garden
Responsibilities
- Applying best-practice horticulture across curated gardens
- Tree and turf care, plant health, and biosecurity management
- Irrigation and smart water practices
- Supporting plant curation, records, and labelling
- Event prep, site activation, and visitor support
- General site maintenance -- from pruning to problem-solving
What you’ll bring
- Solid horticultural know-how (ideally in a botanic or amenity garden setting)
- A love for plants, precision, and purpose
- Team spirit and willingness to mentor apprentices/trainees
- A keen eye for safety, presentation, and public experience
- Bonus points for knowledge of plant records, irrigation systems, or biosecurity
