Job Description
We are seeking a high-calibre legal professional to provide end-to-end advice on workplace issues and lead the conduct of complex disputes before courts and tribunals.
This role is ideal for a lawyer with strong litigation capability and a pragmatic commercial mindset, advising clients on high-stakes employment and industrial relations issues.
Key Responsibilities
* Advise clients on employment and service contracts, workplace policies, executive remuneration, redundancy, and misconduct issues.
* Manage and conduct employment disputes, including unfair dismissal, general protections, restraint of trade, and enterprise bargaining disputes.
* Represent clients before regulatory bodies and court systems.
* Provide guidance during workplace investigations and performance management processes.
* Advise on employment aspects of corporate transactions including M&A, restructures, and compliance matters.
* Mentor junior professionals and contribute to internal resources and strategy.
About You
* 6+ years experience in a relevant field with a strong focus on employment and industrial relations law.
* Confident advising senior executives and counsel at companies and firms.
* Ability to work across a broad practice – including advisory, contentious, and transactional support.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
* A commercial approach to client relationships and legal problem-solving.
