The Asia‐Pacific region currently includes Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Singapore employing nearly 3,000 team members.
We are now seeking a Director, Employee Relations & HR Policy (APAC) to lead our regional ER/IR strategy, partnering with senior leaders to enable performance, manage risk and help maintain a high‐performing, values‐driven workforce.
What you'll be responsible for Strategic Leadership
* Shape and execute Lineage's ER/IR strategy across the region
* Provide trusted, expert counsel to senior leaders on complex workforce matters
* Identify emerging risks and opportunities and proactively drive solutions
Enterprise Bargaining & IR Excellence
* Lead end‐to‐end enterprise/collective agreement negotiations
* Drive strategy, bargaining, drafting and successful approvals
* Partner with Payroll and Legal to ensure seamless implementation
Dispute Resolution & Advocacy
* Manage Fair Work Commission matters (unfair dismissal, general protections, etc.)
* Represent the business in tribunals and regulatory proceedings
* Oversee complex investigations and ER cases across jurisdictions
Capability Building
* Uplift ER capability across the HR function
* Coach and guide HRBPs to effectively manage employee relations matters
* Embed consistent frameworks, policies, and operating standards
Stakeholder Engagement
* Senior executives and operational leaders
* Union representatives and delegates
* External legal advisors and regulatory bodies
What you bring
* Extensive experience in Employee Relations / Industrial Relations
* Proven experience across APAC markets (highly desirable)
* An impressive track record in leading enterprise bargaining and union engagement
* Deep knowledge of employment law, awards, and regulatory frameworks
* Experience representing organisations in tribunals and legal matters
* Ability to influence, negotiate, and navigate complex stakeholder environments
* Experience operating within a global, matrixed organisation (preferred)
