About the Role
The Women's Safety Contact Program provides casework services to protected persons and their children affected by domestic and family violence. This is a fixed-term position available until 30 June with an option to extend contingent upon continued funding.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced advocate to support women and children impacted by domestic and family violence.
* This role requires significant knowledge and experience in providing services to women and children affected by domestic and family violence.
To be considered for this role, you will hold or be studying towards a degree-level qualification in Social Work or a related field with commensurate experience.
Previous experience working in crisis, domestic violence, or related settings is essential, along with strong understanding of risk assessments and safety management planning.
Able to plan and manage complex cases, manage electronic records, and have strong attention to detail.
About You
You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with vulnerable clients.
Strong organizational and time management skills are also required, as well as the ability to maintain accurate and detailed records.
