About the Role:
As a Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter – You will play a critical role in our field service and planned maintenance teams, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of large-scale mining equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform major component rebuilds and breakdowns on all fleet.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
* Work efficiently to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
* Follow strict safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
* Collaborate with a skilled team in fast‑paced mining environments .
Qualifications & Experience:
* Trade Certificate – CERT III Mobile Plant Technology (or equivalent).
* Minimum 3+ years' experience working on large mining excavators .
* Proven experience with Liebherr, Caterpillar, Hitachi and Komatsu .
* Strong knowledge of Caterpillar and Cummins engines .
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening, and provide a National Police Clearance (within 6 months).
* EWP, WAH, and Crane tickets are advantageous.
