Mainframe Security Specialist (RACF)
My client is seeking a Mainframe Security Specialist with deep expertise in RACF to join their growing team. This role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer RACF security controls, ensuring compliance and access management across z/OS environments.
- Develop, implement, and maintain mainframe security standards, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct security reviews, risk assessments, and audits to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
- Partner with infrastructure, application, and compliance teams to deliver secure and reliable mainframe solutions.
- Support incident investigations and provide subject matter expertise in RACF and mainframe security.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience working with IBM z/OS mainframe systems.
- Deep technical knowledge of RACF (policies, profiles, permissions, and administration).
- Proven track record in mainframe security management and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with mainframe performance, monitoring, and automation tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Base pay range: A$160,000.00/yr - A$180,000.00/yr
