Now’s your chance—the whole of government contract management team is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person to backfill a vacant SOGC contract manager role until the end of the financial year. No procurement or contract management experience necessary, just strong communication skills, excellent stakeholder engagement, and a whole lot of curiosity and drive. You’ll help look after our Whole of Government Arrangements using good judgement to come up with practical and compliant solutions. With support and guidance from the team, you’ll manage the day-to-day operations of your contract, prepare documents, briefs and comms, support the portfolio strategy, and work with suppliers and stakeholders across government to build strong relationships and keeps thing running smoothly. Eligibility/Other Requirements: Relevant tertiary qualifications are not mandatory but could be an advantage, including a Certificate IV in Government (Procurement and Contracting), a Certificate VI Advanced Diploma of Government (Procurement and Contracting), and/or project management and ICT certifications. Previous experience in the delivery of public sector procurement or contract management would be an advantage. Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately until the end of the 2025-2026 financial year. This position is available to ACT Government officers and employees only. This position is based in an activity-based working (ABW) environment. Officers will not have a designated workstation. The team currently works in the office two days per week (Wednesday and Thursday) across 220 London Circuit (City) and 480 Northbourne Avenue (Dickson).
