Our client, a leading infrastructure contractor delivering major rail and transport projects across Australia, is seeking Rail Labourers to support rail maintenance works on a key track upgrade project in Tasmania.
About The Role
You will be part of a rail maintenance team delivering re-railing works on an active infrastructure project. This is a hands‐on role suited to candidates with labouring or rail experience who are looking to build a long‐term career in the rail and infrastructure sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with rail maintenance and re‐railing activities
* Support site teams with general labouring duties
* Work safely within rail corridor environments
* Handle tools, materials and equipment as required
* Follow site safety procedures and project requirements
Requirements
* 1–2+ years' experience in rail, construction or similar industry
* Previous labouring experience in a site‐based environment
* Basic knowledge of rail components and procedures (desirable)
* Current Driver's Licence
* Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team
