**Purpose of the Role**
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive **Assistant Facilities Manager**to join our on-site team supporting one of South Australia's most exciting large-scale infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will lead a small team while working closely with the client, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless facilities operations across a fast-paced and high-profile environment.
This is a newly created role, offering the chance to help shape processes during a period of significant site growth.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee day-to-day facilities operations and ensure contract KPIs are met
- Manage and mentor a small on-site team
- Coordinate preventive and reactive maintenance activities via CMMS
- Liaise with the client, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional service
- Monitor budgets, review invoices, and assist with reporting
- Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality standards
**Essential Skills & Experience**
- Proven experience in facilities management, property, or corporate real estateStrong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Australian citizenship (due to client requirements)
- Proficiency with CMMS systems and MS Office Suite
