The Private - Business Tax team brings our purpose to life by specialising in providing c om p rehensive tax advisory and c om p lianc e services to privately-owned businesses, including family enterprises, partnerships, and privately-held c om p anies. Our expertise en c om p asses a wide range of tax-related areas such as tax planning and strategy, succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, and reorganisation. We work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and objectives, ensuring that they meet all regulatory requirements while optimising their tax positions. You’ll help solve c om p lex problems by using your skills in: Ensur ing clients meet their tax obligations by preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring accuracy and c om p lianc e with current regulations. Advis ing clients on tax-efficient strategies to optimize their tax positions, including succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, and reorganization. Stay ing updated with the latest tax laws and regulations, conduct in-depth research to provide clients with informed guidance. Mentor ing and supporting junior staff ; fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment. Identify ing potential tax risks and developing strategies to mitigate them to protect our clients' interests. Provid ing updates to clients on tax-related issues, helping them stay informed about changes in tax legislation. Provid ing tax c om p lianc e, tax planning and tax advisory services for large client groups with multiple types of entities including trusts, c om p anies, partnership and individuals; Assist ing clients with tax related services for acquiring businesses, such as ; tax due diligence, reviewing tax sections of purchase agreements and the process of implementing the acquired entities such as tax consolidation calculations and stub period tax returns. In our P rivate - Business Tax team, your impact will be seen by: Develop ing and maintaining strong relationships with a portfolio of private business clients, understanding their unique tax needs and providing tailored advice. Innovat ing and streamlin ing our client’s tax processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy. Work ing closely with other departments (e.g., audit, advisory) to provide holistic solutions to clients. Driving client growth by delivering exceptional service and identifying opportunities for additional services and solutions. Help ing expand the firm's market presence by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
