About the Role
As the Parenting Connection WA Coordinator for the Region, you will play a key leadership role in identifying the parenting needs of local families and shaping services that support child wellbeing and positive family functioning. You will lead the development, delivery, facilitation, and evaluation of parenting programs, including information sessions, support groups, and tailored initiatives for priority groups.
Working collaboratively with local services, community organisations, and stakeholder networks, you will strengthen pathways for families to access support and help build a cohesive and responsive service system. Your role also includes creating linkages for parents to relevant programs and, where needed, facilitating access to centralised consultation services.
You will use your planning, project management, and community engagement skills to guide strategic service delivery across the Region. This includes identifying emerging needs, ensuring proportionate universality in service reach, and contributing to a strong culture of collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.

This role requires strong planning, project management, and community engagement skills to guide strategic service delivery across the Region. Key tasks include:

• Contributing to a culture of collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.
About you
You are a compassionate, community-minded professional with a strong foundation in human services, child development, community development, or a related field. Your knowledge of contemporary parenting practices and the challenges faced by families, children, and young people enables you to deliver meaningful, evidence-informed support.
You bring confidence and skill to group facilitation, program delivery, and community engagement, and you thrive on building relationships that strengthen local support networks. You understand the complexities of family dynamics, trauma, and cultural considerations, particularly within Aboriginal and CALD communities and you use this insight to provide inclusive, respectful, and responsive services.
Organised and self-motivated, you manage competing priorities with ease and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams. You are equally comfortable working independently, demonstrating initiative, and supporting others through supervision and capacity-building. With strong written and verbal communication skills, you engage stakeholders at all levels and advocate for the needs of local families.
You meet all required compliance standards including a Current Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance, and you bring a commitment to child safety, workplace health and safety, and best-practice service delivery.
