About the Role
We are seeking a licensed Electrician to join our field-based team in a dedicated Electrical Test & Tag role, delivering compliance testing services across local council facilities and assets. This role involves on-site testing, tagging, verification, and reporting of electrical equipment in accordance with Australian Standards and council requirements.
This position offers consistent local work, stable hours, and long-term employment supporting council maintenance and compliance programs.
Key Responsibilities
• Field-based electrical testing and tagging of portable and fixed electrical equipment
• Compliance testing across council facilities, depots, offices, community buildings, and public assets
• Verification testing and inspection of electrical equipment in accordance with AS/NZS 3760
• Accurate recording of test results, tagging, and completion of compliance documentation
• Identification and reporting of non-compliant or faulty equipment
• Liaising professionally with council representatives and site contacts
• Ensuring all work complies with AS/NZS standards, WHS legislation, and company procedures
About You
• Current NSW Electrical Licence (mandatory)
• Experience in electrical test & tag, maintenance, or compliance roles (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of AS/NZS 3760, AS/NZS 3000, and WHS requirements
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Professional presentation and communication skills
• White Card (or willingness to obtain)
• Current NSW Driver's Licence
