Health & Safety Officer – Northern Beaches
Join Design Build as a Health & Safety Officer in the Northern Beaches region. This role focuses on health and safety at high‐density residential construction sites.

The Role
We're looking for an HSE Advisor who thrives in a dynamic site‐based role. You'll be on site Monday – Friday, with a rostered Saturday.
What You'll Be Doing
* Supporting the development and implementation of site‐specific safety plans
* Delivering training and practical WHS advice to staff and subcontractors
* Conducting site inspections, risk assessments, and compliance reviews
* Building relationships across project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders
* Leading incident investigations and helping close the loop on corrective actions
What You'll Bring
* Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (a must)
* 12+ months experience in an HSE role on commercial or residential construction sites (must)
* Strong knowledge of current WHS legislation and compliance requirements
* Previous experience on unit builds or large‐scale commercial projects is ideal
* Confident communicator with a proactive, hands‐on attitude
