About the Opportunity
Join a well-established roofing business as a Residential Roofing Supervisor. This pivotal role oversees multiple roofing projects from planning through completion, ensuring quality workmanship, safety compliance and on-time, on-budget delivery. You’ll combine hands-on technical know-how with strong leadership to guide crews and subcontractors while keeping clients informed and satisfied.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule projects, reviewing drawings and specifications
- Supervise roofing teams and subcontractors, maintaining safety and quality standards
- Manage materials, equipment and staffing needs to maximise efficiency
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders, providing progress updates and addressing issues promptly
- Resolve on-site challenges and make decisions on methods, techniques and materials
- Maintain accurate project documentation and regular progress reports
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a positive, safety-focused work culture
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience in residential, commercial or industrial roofing
- At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team-lead role preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and safety regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
- Trade qualification, White Card and valid driver’s licence
