About the Role
You'll provide person-centred support to participants in their homes and the community, helping them:
* Build independence and social skills
* Engage in hobbies and community activities
* Develop routines for physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing
* Communicate and connect — including supporting participants with hearing impairment through inclusive and accessible interactions
This role involves both independent and team-based work, with some weekend and sleepover shifts required.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in mental health and supporting Challenging behaviours
* Certificate III or Diploma in Community Services (highly regarded)
* Understanding of Indigenous culture and community values
* Interest in learning Auslan or supporting participants with hearing impairments
* Resilience, positivity, and willingness to have fun with participants
* Current Blue Card, Yellow Card, First Aid/CPR, and driver's licence
* Your own insured vehicle and smartphone
* Completion of the NDIS New Worker Orientation Module
