Our client is a leader in the automotive sales and servicing of a diverse range of vehicles, including passenger, SUV's and EV's in Perth

Based in Cannington, we are a proudly Western Australian owned and operated business with a long history. We have a strong reputation for delivering high-quality work completed by our skilled and experienced team and we want you to be a part of it.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Workshop Manager / Supervisor with proven experience in the Automotive industry (Auto Electrical experience preferred but not essential) to lead our existing team and support our growing business.
Your responsibilities (but not limited to):

- Prepare, supervise, and manage all workshop activities to a high standard.
- Support technicians and apprentices to deliver the highest levels of quality and safety.
- Work Scheduling – 'right person, right task, right time'. Monitor to ensure projects remain on track.
- Work side by side with the team to deliver on time and on budget for all customers.
- Communicate progress including timeframes and variations from costings to other all involved
- Look for continuous improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure adequate levels of stock are maintained.
- Actively manage servicing and maintenance of workshop equipment.
- Assist with quoting. Assist with new customer acquisition.
- Ensure full documentation of projects is held and stored according to policy.
- Ensure health and safety standards are always met in the workshop.

What skills you'll need:

- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the automotive or body building industry.
- Sound leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Technical knowledge of vehicles, fabrication, Mechanical and 12v systems, maintenance, and repair procedures.
- Ability to work to a schedule and prioritise effectively in a dynamic environment.
- A great attitude and pride in the quality of work.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a workshop setting.
- Relevant qualifications and Motor Repair number.
- Valid driver's license. Police clearance
