Job Description
We are seeking a skilled plumber to join our team in a remote village. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality plumbing services, including installing, maintaining, and repairing water supply and sewerage systems across the village.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
* Operating and maintaining sewer and water treatment plants.
* Maintaining and servicing commercial kitchen gas appliances.
* Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
* Diagnosing faults and completing timely repairs to minimize service disruption.
* Maintaining accurate service and inspection records.
* Ensuring all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and site safety procedures.
* Coordinating with other trades and departments for integrated maintenance.
* Upholding a clean and hazard-free work environment.
* Supporting emergency response activities (manual driver's licence required).
* Requirement to be on call on a rotating roster.
To be successful in this role, you will hold a current Queensland Plumbing Licence and Gas Fitting Licence, along with a manual driver's licence. Additional tickets such as Forklift, EWP, Confined Space, and Working at Heights are highly regarded.
You bring experience in water and sewerage plant operation, backflow prevention, and broad building maintenance. You must be safety-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in remote environments.
