Billet Engineering is seeking a reliable and hardworking Trade Assistant / Yard Person to join our team in Kalgoorlie. This is a hands-on role supporting our workshop and yard operations, ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating machinery, and being part of a dynamic engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist tradespeople with general workshop duties
Load and unload trucks and deliveries
Operate forklifts and other yard equipment (training provided if required)
Maintain a clean and organized yard and workshop area
Perform basic mechanical tasks and equipment preparation
Follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment
Support inventory control and stock movement

What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a similar role or a strong willingness to learn
Forklift ticket (or willingness to obtain)
Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to safety and workplace standards
Reliable and punctual with a robust work ethic
