You'll be supported by a powerful ecosystem of sales support, marketing, commercial, R&D, and technical experts across Australia, as well as regional and global teams.About the RoleWe're looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Area Sales Representative to join our team in Far North Queensland, based in the Cairns region.
In this field-based role, you'll manage a well-established territory with existing accounts across electrical wholesalers, contractors, and residential builders.
You'll be the face of Clipsal in the region, backed by a trusted brand and a national team that's got your back.What Will You Do?
Manage and grow a defined territory across Cairns and surrounding areasBuild strong, trust-based relationships with electrical wholesalers, contractors, and residential buildersIdentify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term customersDeliver product demonstrations and training sessions to customers and partnersUse digital tools and CRM systems to manage your pipeline and report on performanceCollaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions and resolve customer issuesStay informed on local market trends, competitor activity, and upcoming residential projectsRepresent the Clipsal brand at trade events, customer days, and industry functionsTravel regionally a few days each month to maintain visibility and support across your territoryAbout YouYou're a natural relationship builder with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for helping customers succeed.Experience in Sales or Account Management, ideally in trade supplies, residential building products, or a technical environment — but if not, we can teach youA growth mindset and learning agility — you're curious, adaptable, and quick to pick up new conceptsStrong interpersonal and communication skills — you're confident engaging with a wide range of stakeholdersAbility to work independently, manage your own schedule, and stay self-motivatedA full driver's licence and willingness to travel regionallyWhat Else Do You Need to Know?
