Senior Mental Health Nursing Consultant


The position of Senior Mental Health Nursing Consultant is available in our team, offering a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and adolescents experiencing mental health challenges.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in mental health nursing, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.

This role involves exercising autonomy and decision-making in clinical practice, coordinating and leading team clinical activities, and providing mental health nursing care in various settings.

To succeed in this position, you must possess strong leadership skills, effective communication and problem-solving abilities, and experience in delivering comprehensive mental health nursing services.

You will also be required to prioritize workload, meet set timelines, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
* Holds, or is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate
* Enrolled in an approved Mental Health course or holds a qualification in mental health practice
* Demonstrated competence in delivering proficient and comprehensive mental health nursing assessment and direct clinical services
