Your New Role

As a Senior Electronics Engineer at Micro-X, you will work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop high quality technical solutions across a range of development programs. You will be involved in design engineering activities, from concept through to manufacturing and product delivery.

Responsibilities

Architect solutions for new products including key component selection and sub-system design.

Designing electronics sub-systems and PCBA's using Altium.

Participate in Systems Engineering activities including requirements capture, verification and validation planning and execution.

Coordinate and perform electrical bring-up and testing of prototypes and pre-production units.

Input to development program project schedules and budgets.

Working with the production team to troubleshoot technical issues.

Ensuring engineering standards of quality, cot, safety, timelines, and performance are observed.

Liaising with customers, manufacturing, and other stakeholders to drive customer centric solutions.

Relationship building and managing positive customer-supplier relationships.

Skills, Experience & Attributes

Minimum 7 years' technical experience in multi-disciplinary system development and manufacturing in a commercial environment.

Proven experience across the full electronics development life cycle including requirements capture, component selection, schematic design, PCB layout and verification testing.

Engineering degree in electronics discipline. Ideal candidates will have Honours degrees.

Complete understanding of business pressures and motivations, including a strong ability to adjust to tight and moving project deadlines.
