The Family Services program provides vital support to families experiencing stress and difficulties. We respond to referrals from The Orange Door, offering assertive outreach and home-based services to help families overcome challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
* Arrange visits with new families using a creative approach
* Conduct strengths and risk assessments in the client's home or child's school
* Review plans to support family goals with your supervisor
* Consult with Child Protection
* Discuss challenging cases with team members in Reflective Practice meetings

Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology or related fields
* Understanding of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 and Best Interest Principles
* Experience in conducting risk assessments and planning interventions
* Strengths-based, child-centered approach to case management
* Ability to work flexibly and innovatively to meet family needs
