About our role
Northern Star has a rewarding opportunity for a Site Services Technician to be a part of a dynamic workplace at our Thunderbox Operations. Reporting to the Site Services Supervisor, this position will be on a family friendly 8 days on 6 days off roster, FIFO of Perth & Busselton.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- HDPE pipeline repair and installation.
- IT, skid steer and excavator operation
- Fuelling of Bore fields generators.
- Open pit Dewatering.
- Maintaining current site Infrastructure
- Heavy involvement in on/offsite projects.
- Bore field operating experience.
- Monitor and maintain water supply to RAW water dams and mining turkey's nest.
Required skills and experience may include:
- HPDE Welding ticket.
- Experience with operating Cat/Volvo IT loaders.
- Experience with McElroy and Dixon Welders.
- Dogman ticket.
- Working at heights ticket.
- C class drivers licence.
- Able to work in remote work areas.
- Able to service and maintain bore pumps and infrastructure.
