Daily Duties
* Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections to identify wear and tear.
* Attend to breakdowns and assist with general repairs.
* Inspect and assess farm facilities, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
* Carry out pre-start checks on farm equipment.
* Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment servicing.
* Perform minor repairs, adjustments, and replacements on farm machinery, feeding systems, ventilation equipment, and other tools to minimise disruptions.
* Monitor and maintain strict adherence to animal welfare standards and biosecurity protocols.
What You'll Bring
* Previous experience in a maintenance role (highly advantageous).
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
* Proficiency in record-keeping and data analysis to support farm management.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with staff, suppliers, and stakeholders.
* Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
