Fitter Machinist / Engine Reconditioner
Location: Forrestfield, Western Australia

Quantum Diesel Engineering Services is a rapidly growing family-owned business specialising in engine and general machining for the Mining, Transport, Marine, and Power Generation industries. We are seeking a motivated Engine Machinist to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities
* Measuring, quoting and machining engine components – blocks, crankshafts, conrods etc
* Fitting of sleeves and bushes
* General machining, - manual milling and turning
* Crack testing, polishing and grinding crankshafts
* Cylinder head machining
* Completing job cards and reports as required
Requirements
* Qualification in Fitting and Turning or as an Engine Reconditioner
* Previous experience in a similar environment working with Cummins and Caterpillar products is considered advantageous
* High attention to detail
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Valid C Class Driver's Licence
* Forklift licence (advantageous)
* Permanent work rights with no restrictions
