Role Description
The Assistant Specification Consultant role is a full-time, work-from-home position. This role involves assisting in the preparation and development of architectural specifications tailored for construction projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with senior consultants and architects, understanding project requirements, performing in-depth research on materials and guidelines, compiling clear and precise specifications, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. You will also communicate and coordinate with clients to ensure all requirements are accurately captured.
Qualifications
* Experience or knowledge in architecture, building design, or construction processes
* Strong research and analytical skills to interpret technical data and regulations
* Attention to detail with expertise in preparing clear and precise documentation
* Effective communication and client collaboration skills
* Proficiency in software used for drafting, writing, or organizing specifications (e.g., AutoCAD, Microsoft Office)
* A degree or certificate in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is highly desirable
* Familiarity with Australian building codes and standards is an advantage
* Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and support multiple projects simultaneously
