About the Role
We are seeking a skilled statistician with a PhD in statistics, applied mathematics, or a related field, possessing a developing research profile and the ability to implement novel statistical methods using various computing programs.
* Develop and Apply Bayesian Methods: Create and implement statistical approaches for designing and analysing early-phase clinical studies, including challenge human infection models.
* Collaborate on Clinical Trials: Work closely with clinical collaborators to implement statistical methods for ongoing trials at the Doherty Institute.
* Contribute to Research Output: Develop technical documentation, lead methodology publications, and present findings at national and international conferences.
* Support Team and Students: Contribute to teaching activities and provide support to PhD students and research assistants in the programme.
Required Skills and Qualifications
