Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Level 1/2 Physiotherapist to join the Physiotherapy Rehabilitation and Aged Care service at Port Kembla Hospital (PKH).
Salary: $37.03 – $52.83 per hour + 12% super and salary packaging. Employment type: Temporary Part Time, 20 hours per week, until 4 January 2026. Applications close: 23 September 2025.
Location: Port Kembla Hospital, Shellharbour region. This role focuses on gym-based therapy delivered to a wide range of rehabilitation clients using both individual and group formats. You will work alongside physiotherapists and allied health assistants, participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives, and ensure clinical excellence in outpatient physiotherapy services.
The successful applicant should have clinical skills in rehabilitation, frailty, falls prevention, and the ability to work closely with the multidisciplinary team.

A Little About Us: As part of the Shellharbour Hospital and Integrated Services Project, a new Community Health Centre is being built on the old Port Kembla Hospital site. Located on Dharawal Country, Warrawong Community Health Centre will bring together services including community mental health, drug and alcohol, community nursing, and child and family services. Until the new Community Centre is complete, some allied health services will continue to operate at the Port Kembla Hospital site.

Responsibilities

* Maintain clinical excellence in outpatient physiotherapy services and support multidisciplinary teamwork.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
* Working With Children Check (WWCC).
* Current AHPRA Registration.
* Valid NSW Driver's Licence.
This is a temporary leave relief position until 4 January 2026 with the possibility of extension.
