About The Chance The primary purpose of this role is to provide advanced advice and support across the People & Culture function, balancing day-to-day HR advisory work with managing complex employee relations matters.
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, your responsibilities will include: Providing practical, people-focused advice to managers on performance, conduct, and developmentLeading and managing complex ER matters, including workplace investigations, conciliations, and conferencesSupporting and developing structured performance management systems to drive high-performance teamsAdvising on compliance with internal policies, industrial instruments, and legislationCoaching and mentoring HR Advisors and HR Administration staffCollaborating with operations teams to surface workforce insights, trends, and long-term solutionsManaging disciplinary processes, dispute resolution, and enterprise agreement consultationsLeading People & Culture projects, including policy reviews, leadership training, and ER framework developmentSupporting continuous improvement across HR advisory and ER processes About You The successful candidate will have: 6+ years' experience in HR/ER roles within a large, fast-paced environmentBachelor's degree in HR, Employment Relations, Law, or a related fieldProven track record in handling conciliations, grievances, investigations, and terminationsStrong advisory skills with a solutions-focused, people-first approach You will also have: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong influencing abilityHigh resilience, discretion, and ability to manage sensitive matters effectivelyThe capability to balance empathy with accountability in decision-makingFull working rights and the ability for ad hoc travel within Australia (2-3 times per year) What's in it for You?
