Our Opportunity
Civil Designer (Civil 3D or 12D user) to join our national team based in Brisbane. In this role you will work across diverse, project-based assignments as part of a collaborative national team. The Civil Engineering Designer performs civil engineering technical tasks ranging from medium to high complexity.
Our Civil Designer will work independently and work closely within a team to deliver quality detailed engineering models and drawings, in an efficient manner.
The Civil Designer will also work within project design parameters, approved by the project director and/or project design manager.
Responsibilities
* Assist project teams in Civil Engineering design, project management and in defining design parameters
* Development of civil engineering models in accordance with defined design parameters
* Work alongside other civil engineering designers throughout project life cycles
* Undertake design checks in accordance with design parameters
* Communicate all design components effectively and accurately with project teams
Qualifications
* Bachelor of Engineering or Technical College qualification (Advance Diploma Civil Engineering or approved equivalent)
* Demonstrated experience (at least 5-7+ years) in a similar role
* Comprehensive understanding of Civil Engineering, including a strong knowledge of Roads, Stormwater Drainage and Earthworks Design
* Competency in Autodesk Civil 3D software
* Ability to develop Civil 3D or 12d Road Surfaces, Pipes and Earthworks Models to TTW national standardised frameworks
* Ability to coordinate in ground infrastructure in accordance with relevant authorities
* Ability to read and implement local state standards
