Lead Behaviour Support Practitioner
This role uniquely blends leadership and clinical practice making it ideal for an experienced behaviour support professional who is ready to take on a broader organisational influence role.
* Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality supervision, mentoring, and performance support to behaviour support practitioners.
* Ensure consistent, compliant, and evidence-based behaviour support practices across the organisation.
* Support staff to meet NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements effectively.
* Foster a positive, reflective and growth-oriented team culture that promotes collaboration and excellence.
* Contribute to recruitment, induction, and professional development initiatives that enhance organisational capabilities.
Key Activities: Provide behaviour support services to a small caseload (approximately 8 billable hours per week), while ensuring timely completion of tasks and achieving desired outcomes.
Key Relationships:
* Internal: Practice Lead, Director of Quality & Compliance, Director of Client Services, HR, behaviour support team, direct care staff.
* External: Participants, families, community organisations, allied health professionals, NDIA planners, DFFH, special schools, hospitals, NDIS Commission staff, and other service providers.
