McDermott Aviation is Australia's largest privately owned helicopter company, supporting critical operations from firefighting to heavy lifting and remote missions across Australia and internationally. We're looking for an Insurance Coordinator to help manage our insurance program and provide essential administrative support across the business.
About The Role
This is a hands-on, administrative-focused position for someone with experience supporting insurance programs and managing identified business risks. You'll keep policies up-to-date, liaise with brokers and insurers, and support internal teams with queries and certificates of currency. There's also scope to assist with general admin, collect and record business data, and produce clear, concise reports that keep the business running smoothly.
What You'll Do
Manage insurance policy renewals and maintain accurate recordsLiaise with brokers and insurers about coverage, changes, and risk exposuresSupport audits, reporting, and tender submissions with up-to-date documentationMonitor operations to ensure insurance coverage remains current and appropriateCollect and record business data to support the office and operational teamsProduce clear and concise reports and correspondenceAssist with general administrative duties as needed
About You
Experience in insurance administration or supporting risk management programsHighly organised, detail-oriented, and proactiveStrong written and verbal communication skillsAble to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders confidentlyComfortable working independently and collaboratively
