Position: Roof Plumber
Responsibilities
* Conduct roof inspections to detect damage or deterioration, assessing the extent of repairs required and ensuring the structural safety of the roofing system.
* Remove old or damaged roofing materials and dispose of them properly, following workplace safety procedures and environmental regulations.
* Measure, cut, and install roofing materials such as metal sheets, tiles, or asphalt shingles, ensuring accurate placement according to project specifications.
* Apply waterproofing products and protective coatings to roofs and walls, safeguarding surfaces against leaks, moisture, and adverse weather conditions.
* Install and repair flashings on roof joints and edges, preventing water infiltration and strengthening the roof's impermeability.
* Fabricate, install, and maintain gutters and downpipes for rainwater drainage, ensuring proper water flow and avoiding damage from accumulation.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
At least a certificate III or 3 years of experience in similar positions.
