. Translink is seeking a Manager (Passenger Transport Operations) to lead a high performing team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This key leadership role involves overseeing the delivery of vital frontline transport services and contracts, while building strong relationships with stakeholders, operators, and the local community. This is a unique opportunity to influence meaningful transport outcomes across Queensland—no two days will be the same.
Responsibilities
Lead a local team, managing resources, finances, and staff performance.
Drive a culture of collaboration, open communication, and continuous improvement.
Oversee the delivery and regulation of passenger transport services, including the School Transport Assistance Scheme.
Manage passenger transport service contracts.
Act as a regulator, ensuring adherence to legislation and standards through education and enforcement.
Support emergency response efforts, including during natural disasters.
Foster strategic partnerships with local stakeholders, operators, and other agencies to explore and promote local transport solutions.
Provide expert advice to customers and industry on legislation, policy and operational delivery, and manage complex complaints or compliance issues.
Participate in the development and delivery of business plans and assist with compliance planning activities.

Mandatory Requirements
Current C class driver licence.
Willingness to travel within Queensland, and if required, work outside of normal hours during emergencies.
