Where there's life, there's Mercy.

Where there's care, there's You.

Through the battles and the breakthroughs, we're there. Where will you be?

For over a century, our incredible teams have provided care for people when they need it most. Our people feel great pride in this, and they value the security and stability we offer. But it also means so much opportunity - to build on all that's gone before, to grow your impact and gain experience that's hard to find elsewhere.

Join us at Mercy Health and help us deliver even greater outcomes for our residents, families, communities, and you.

About the opportunity

We are seeking a proactive Clinical Practice Development Partner to join our national clinical leadership team. These newly created roles are part of an exciting transformation aimed at enhancing clinical support, education and practice development, workforce strategy, and on-site accessibility to clinicians across our Residential Aged Care Homes.

Working collaboratively with the Clinical Lead-Residential Aged Care and the Residential Aged Care Operations team, you will develop and deliver training in alignment with our Healthy Ageing Strategic Education Plan. You will also provide on-site clinical support within areas of risk and help drive continuous improvement and practice development opportunities. You will also provide coaching and mentoring support for the clinical teams to foster a positive workforce culture and assist in succession planning.

This is a site‐based position, requiring travel to support our RAC homes in Albury (NSW), Yarrawonga (VIC), and Myrtleford (VIC).

We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements, including hybrid work‐from‐home arrangements, for the right candidate.

You will have
* Knowledge of contemporary learning and development practices within Aged Care
* Understanding of the Aged Care Act and Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards including legislative regulations
* Well‐developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
* Understanding of clinical risk and continuous improvement processes
* Knowledge of systems including incident management and CRM
* Excellent time management and planning skills
* Understanding of professional accountability and clinical standards
What you'll bring
* Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse
* Relevant Post Graduate Qualifications (desirable, not mandatory)
* Minimum Certificate IV in Assessment and Training, or willingness to obtain one, within the first 12 months
* Previous experience in clinical education/supervision roles
* Willingness to undertake the Mercy Health Foundation Improvement Capability program
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining
* Police check and or NDIS clearance.

Ready to help us shape the future of healthcare?
